Prayer is how we talk to God and spend time with Him in an intimate setting, even someone who is not familiar with the Bible can pray. When a relationship with God is truly nurtured by prayer and constant communication, there is a sense of peace that you receive. There is comfort knowing that someone is listening and cares about you and your situation.
God gives peace to those who are quiet before him. When you cast your cares at the foot of the cross....you can experience peace like never before. It is this desire that will impact growth and maturity. When we have taken the relationship with God to an intimate level it bonds us not only to His presence but also to His strength.
Be at peace with all....you can't change the person all you can do is handle your part through God's Power....you will never regret forgiving someone who doesn't deserve it....
